NOKERO SOLAR ANNOUNCED AS A COLORADO COMPANY TO WATCH

Denver, CO – Nokero announced today that it has been named a Colorado Company to Watch, four years after Nokero was founded on June 10, 2010. Nokero has been recognized for its growth within the solar industry at large and among Colorado’s growing network of startup companies.

Founder and CEO, Steve Katsaros, says, “Nokero’s global footprints have led us back to our home, Colorado. We have served millions of customers across 130 countries.  This distinguished panel chose to recognize our efforts to bring clean, affordable light to the 1.3 billion living without electricity.”

Colorado Companies to Watch honors second stage companies that develop valuable products and services, create quality jobs, enrich communities, and create new industries throughout Colorado. David Tolson, Colorado Companies to Watch Board Chairman, says, “We are pleased to recognize Nokero for their outstanding contribution in fueling the economic fire of Colorado.”

The Colorado program focuses not just on award recipients’ economic impact, but also on the true impact and influence of the organization within their state and their industries. Nokero, in addition to 49 other winners, helps Colorado gain insight into the state’s economic landscape and recognize the critical impact of a sustainable product.

For Nokero’s fourth birthday, they are honored to celebrate as a “Colorado Company to Watch”. In addition to their global work in developing countries, Nokero finds Colorado to be the perfect home for Denver-based headquarters due to Coloradans’ appreciation for sustainability, renewable energy, and a sense of global community.
